[Pebeo is a French brand of mixed media for artists. To celebrate their 100th birthday this year they have organized the third edition of Pebeo Mixed Media Art Prize and Exhibition. I have been using Pebeo Porcelaine 150 for a few years now. They are very user-friendly paints, but also they allow my art to last longer (after being fired in the oven they become water resistant) This is why I decided to enter the contest. Below you can see my entry entitled "The Upside Down." It's a handpainted porcelaine cup featuring a birch tree together with its roots visible when the cup is turned upside down. And yes - I'm sure the title was inspired to some extent by the Netflix epic series Stranger Things :)] ............................. Frida Kahlo, a właściwie moja imienniczka Magdalena Carmen Frieda Kahlo y Calderón, symbol Meksyku i feminizmu, wyjątkowa kobieta malarka. Jest dla mnie kopalnią inspiracji, dlatego postanowiłam pokazać ją w różnych wersjach. "Na bogato" niczym w jej własnych pracach, jak również w bliskiej mi opcji bardziej minimalistycznej  1. Portret bez tła: I wersja  zawierająca w tle elementy pojawiające się na obrazach Fridy: Kilka zbliżeń: Po drugiej stronie nie mogło zabraknąć cytatu : "I am my own muse" 2. Portrety to chyba nie moja bajka. Zerknijcie na efekty mojego "starcia" (bo inaczej tego nazwać nie mogę ;) z Kevinem Spacey, a raczej postacią w którą się wciela w serialu House of Cards. ................................................................................................................. Portraits are always a tough job for me.
