Portrety to chyba nie moja bajka. Zerknijcie na efekty mojego "starcia" (bo inaczej tego nazwać nie mogę ;) z Kevinem Spacey, a raczej postacią w którą się wciela w serialu House of Cards. ................................................................................................................. Moje drugie podejście do Freddiego. Tym razem powstał komplet dwóch prawie identycznych kubków, dorzuciłam też napis wzorowany na jego autografie oraz hasło "Nie będę gwiazdą rocka, będę legendą" My second attempt to paint Freddie. Thsi time it's a twin set of mugs ith his portrait, autograph and a note: "I won't be a rock star, I will be a legend" Pod spodem dorzuciłam osobiste dedykacje <3 At the bottom you can see some additional inscriptions for the owners :) Przypominam jak wyglądał mój pierwszy Freddie + zestaw jego wielkich tytułów And a little reminder of my previous mug with Freddie:

To chyba pierwsza kobieta w mojej kolekcji - Florence Welch.  Nie licząc Małej Mi, która nota bene też jest ruda :) taki mały zbieg okoliczności ;) It seems Florence Welch is the first woman on my mug except Little My who is a splendid redhead, too :) a coincidence I guess ;) a wszystko przez to oto zdjęcie, genialną pozę i rękawy. Jak zwykle nie mogłam się opanować i kreski zamieniają się w tytuły piosenek: The lines from the sleeves turn into song titles: Shake it out, You've got the love, Blinding, Rabbit Love, Spectrum, Kiss with a Fist, Cosmic Love, What the Water Gave me, Over the Love, No Light No Light, Dog days are over.

... this was one of the hardest mugs ever! But... just as Barney Stinson (also known as Swarley ;) likes to say I thought: "challange accepted" and there wasn't any way out! Of course I realize the portrait resembles the original face just a little bit, but I was afraid to wipe it off and try again (like a millionth time^^). So I decided to throw in a few extra lines to make up for it: - when I'm sad I stop being sad and become awesome instead - suit up! - it's going to be LEGEN wait fot it... DARY :) Kolejne niemałe wyzwanie - Barney Stinson z "Jak poznałem Twoją matkę" . Niestety portret jedynie (mam nadzieję, bo już straciłam dystans) przypomina oryginał, ale prób było chyba milion i więcej już nie dało się ze mnie wycisnąć :) dorzuciłam za to kilka jego ulubionych tekstów : and this happens when I feel exasperated :)))))) a tak maluję kiedy jestem już sfrustrowana :))))))

Another fan art (after a loooong break in painting...), but this time it's with the Notorious Big, a black and white version on a huge mug. Kolejny fanart (po dłuuugiej przerwie w malowaniu). Tym razem zmierzyłam się z raperem Notorious Big, wersja czarno biała na ogrooomnym kukbu.

If you watch Big Bang Theory you know Sheldon Cooper and his 'bazinga' for sure as well as the notice "I'm not crazy, ma mother had me tested" Jeśli oglądacie "Teorię wielkiego podrywu" to na pewno znacie Sheldona i jego okrzyk 'BAZINGA' :)

Love this picture :) maybe because it is much different from my other pics... nevertheless sunset light looks great on Freddie ;) On the other side of the mug there are a few titles of his songs in a font that I wanted to look like it was flowing / moving / or something. Hope you like it. Mam sentyment do tego zdjęcia, pewnie dlatego że jest inne niż reszta. Well... now I can say David Duchovny or perhaps Hank Moody is bloody difficult to paint... here is what I managed to achieve and what seems to be better than plenty versions before this one. To make it look better I decided to add some extra things and notes, hope in the end it looks interesting. Panie i Panowie oto David Duchowny, a raczej Hank Moody z serialu Californication, prosty na pewno nie był... więc postanowiłam "nadrobić" ciekawą otoczką, mam nadzieję, że ostateczna wersja jest niczego sobie. a bit of backstage: and last but not least - one more unshaven genteleman a na koniec Hank w towarzystwie drugiego nieogolonego przystojniaka - Dextera ;)

Here's one o my newest commissions, a very demanding one - Buckethead. It was supposed to have a specific portrait on it, the names of his CDs in chronological order and original fonts plus a portrait of him playing his guitar. Unfortunately, the profile and hands proved to be too difficult for me (as hands almost always do...) and the commission had to be changed. As a result you can see the guitar typical of Buckethead instead of the second portrait. Buckethead to jedno z moich największych wyzwań. Zgodnie z zamówieniem na kubku miał być konkretny portret, tytuły płyt ułożone chronologicznie i zapisane oryginalną czcionką oraz drugi portret na którym Buckethead gra na gitarze. Niestety poległam na dłoniach... i zamiast drugiego portretu mamy typową dla niego gitarę. and just to compare here you have some of my reference photos:   i dla porównania zdjęcia z których korzyst ałam:

Here are my mugs featuring the main character from the "Dexter" TV series, which by the way is extremely engaging and I highly recommend having a look at it :) I guess the portraits differ a lot. The first one is most comic-like while the last one uses much more shadow and thus looks more realistic. Each time I tried to come up with and interesting inscription. I wonder which one is best... A oto moja kubkowa seria inspirowana serialem "Dexter" (swoją drogą gorąco polecam, tym którzy jeszcze nie widzieli!) . Każdy portret wyszedł zupełnie inny - pierwszy przypomina styl komiksowy, a ten najnowszy jest najbardziej realistyczny, aczkolwiek przyznam szczerze, że nie było to planowane, po prostu tak wyszło :) no to który jest najlepszy?
